Advisory Council

The Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame’s Advisory Council will comprise strictly of identified and subsequently carefully selected members of the Hall who are not in active service in the corporate/institutional boards through which they were invited to join the Hall in the first place.

Please note that it is irrelevant whether they are still active in other corporate/institutional positions/activities other than the Board memberships for which they were inducted into the Hall originally.

The primary eligibility criterion for membership of the Advisory Council, which will be the highest strategic thinking body of the Hall and thus its most prestigious, authoritative and influential level, is that members have completed their respective tours of duty as Board members, thus assuring that they have exemplary expertise and experience with regards to corporate/institutional thinking.

The Advisory Council will have the following primary responsibilities and consequent spheres of influence:

  • Advising on the capacity building events to be organized by and on behalf of the members of the Hall of Fame;

  • Advising on the expertise and experience sharing and dissemination activities to be carried by the Hall of Fame on behalf of its members;

  • Advising on the networking events to be organized by and on behalf of the members of the Hall of Fame;

  • Advising on the public policy advocacy initiatives to be pursued by members of the Hall of Fame on behalf of wider corporate Ghana;

  • Advising on the nature and scope of any collective corporate social responsibility activities to be carried out by the Hall of Fame.
